Build real-world
LLM-powered applications at your own pace,
no coding required.

Explore everything from prompt engineering to agentic AI systems with LLM Application Developer Programme (LADP) Essentials.

  • Online • Self-paced
  • No coding needed
  • 20 hours • 2 months of learning
  • Digital certificate

Built by the AI Engineers who ship these systems for real.

LADP Essentials is designed by AI Engineers from AI Singapore (AISG) — practitioners who build production-grade, enterprise Large Language Model (LLM)-powered applications for real-world use.

Learn from the real experts who build real-world AI systems. Then apply your skills through a capstone based on the same challenges they’ve tackled in the field.

It is as real as it gets.

No code means no excuses.

You don’t need to be technical, and you don’t need a project idea before you start.
Bring your curiosity and your domain expertise — the course will help you find the rest.

GenAI-Curious

No coding background required. All you need is the curiosity to learn. You’ll discover how LLMs work by building with them first-hand.

In Any Profession

Whether you’re in HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, or running your own business — if your work involves around documents, information and workflows, and you wish to enhance it with AI, this course is for you.

Ready to Explore

You don’t need a problem statement, business case or project idea to begin. Bring your curiosity and domain expertise — we’ll help you discover meaningful ways to apply GenAI through hands-on building.

You don’t just learn it — you build it.

LADP Essentials is hands-on from the first lesson. Every concept is a no-code build. You’ll progress from prompt engineering up to agentic AI systems, shipping a series of no-code LLM-powered applications and finishing with a capstone LLM-powered application that’s yours to keep.

WORKFLOW 1

A prompted assistant

Write an enterprise-grade system prompt and shape how the model responds.

WORKFLOW 2

A RAG chatbot

Ground answers in your own documents instead of guesswork.

WORKFLOW 3

An agentic workflow

A chatbot that uses tools to take action, not just reply.

★ CAPSTONE

Your own application

Take on a real scenario our AI engineers have faced in the field, build it end-to-end and submit it — yours to keep.

Our focus is on teaching the principles behind building AI applications — not on mastering a single tool.
The concepts you master are transferable across a wide range of AI development tools, frameworks, and workflows.

20 hours, at your own pace.

You don’t need to be technical, and you don’t need a project idea before you start.
Bring your curiosity and your domain expertise — the course will help you find the rest.

DEEP-SKILLING — 4 MODULES

Prompt Engineering

“How do I talk to an LLM?”

Tokens & context, message roles, chain-of-thought, few-shot prompting.

Retrieval-Augmented Generation

“How do I give it my data?”

Chunking, embeddings, vector databases, the RAG pipeline.

Agentic Workflows

“How do I make it act?”

AgentFlow V2, multi-agent triage, structured outputs, tool use.

Production Readiness

“How do I ship it safely?”

Evaluation, deployment, security & bias.

CAPSTONE — APPLY IT, SHIP IT, OPEN-SOURCE IT

FAQ

No. LADP Essentials is a no-code course and everything is explained from scratch. Your domain expertise is the qualification.

No. The course helps you discover meaningful ways to apply GenAI as you go, and the capstone gives you a scenario to build around.

20 hours in total, designed to be completed over two months at roughly 2 hours a week, with six months of access.

LADP Essentials is fully asynchronous — no live sessions, scheduled classes or pre-work required. However, you can ask questions any time through the ticket system. For mentored, team-based support, see LADP Enterprise.

You’ll build AI applications with a visual, low-code development platform — Flowise.

The focus is on understanding how prompts, retrieval, agents, and evaluation work together, rather than on any specific tool — the concepts carry over directly to other AI development tools, frameworks, and workflows.

Flowise is being discontinued? See the FAQ below for what this means for LADP Essentials.

From the beginning of the programme, our focus has been on teaching the principles behind building AI applications—not on mastering a single tool. Flowise has served as a visual, low-code environment that makes it easier to understand how prompts, retrieval, agents, memory, and evaluation work together before introducing more advanced implementation approaches.

These concepts transfer directly to other platforms and frameworks, including Langflow, Dify, n8n, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex. As the AI ecosystem continues to evolve, the ability to understand these underlying concepts becomes even more valuable than familiarity with any individual platform.

While active development and official support are ending, Flowise itself will continue to be available as open-source software under the Apache 2.0 licence. The source code, Docker images, and npm packages remain accessible, allowing learners to continue installing and using the platform to complete the programme’s hands-on exercises.

By the end of the programme, you’ll have built several no-code LLM applications, including a prompted assistant, a RAG chatbot that answers questions from your own documents, an assistant with agentic workflows, and a capstone application that’s yours to keep.

You’ll also receive a digital certificate of completion.

Yes. For organisations looking to build GenAI literacy at scale (20+ seats), please contact AISG directly.

Fees shown are subsidised by AISG for Singapore Citizens and PRs, inclusive of 9% GST. SkillsFuture credit is not applicable.

You can enrol and begin at any time — the course is self-paced with rolling enrolment.

To run Flowise locally, you’ll need both Docker Desktop and NodeJS installed. For Docker Desktop, check the official system requirements for your operating system — Mac, Windows or Linux. For Flowise, ensure NodeJS is installed (Node v18.15.0 or v20 and above is supported).

Once your machine is set up, head over to the Flowise GitHub repository and try the Quick Start section.

Yes. You’ll provision your own LLM API key, and we make it easy. The course videos include a step-by-step guide to setting up both an OpenAI API key and an Anthropic API key, so you can simply follow along. A minimum top-up of about US$5 is needed to activate these keys.

Prefer a different provider? No problem — if you’d like to use models from OpenRouter, Google or Groq, just follow the same steps shown in the video and select the appropriate credential plugin for your chosen provider.
