About AIAP

AI Apprenticeship Programme (AIAP), the flagship initiative of AI Singapore (AISG), was conceived to address the critical gap in Singapore’s AI talent pool. Recognizing the growing demand for skilled AI practitioners, AISG created AIAP to provide a comprehensive and immersive learning experience that goes beyond traditional education models. The programme’s unique approach blends theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on experience, ensuring that apprentices not only understand AI concepts but also gain the skills to apply them to real-world challenges.

As AIAP’s success grew, it became evident that a broader approach to talent development was needed to cater to individuals at different stages of their AI journey. This led to the expansion of AIAP’s offerings, creating a comprehensive suite of programmes that support aspiring AI professionals from various backgrounds and levels of expertise. The AI Internship Programme (AIIP) was introduced to provide young talents with valuable industry exposure and mentorship, allowing them to gain practical experience and build their professional networks. Meanwhile, the LLM Application Developer Programme (LADP) was launched to equip professionals with the specialized skills needed to harness the power of large language models (LLMs) and create innovative AI-driven solutions.
